Virtuagym launched in 2008 as a consumer app for web and mobile, providing users with an easy and fun way to work out and track their nutrition. With over 15 million users worldwide and a 4,5-star rating, Virtuagym is one of the leading innovators in the digital health and fitness domain. As one of the leading and fastest-growing Dutch scale-ups, Virtuagym is an international player with more than 200 employees across offices world-wide.
The challenge
Long term talent acquisition partner
As one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands, Virtuagym was in a crucial period of their growth journey, in which they needed to fill a great amount of leadership positions, of which a CCO and CFO. However, they had no talent acquisition team in-house. So, with a wish-list of more than 20 leadership roles to hire, Virtuagym started looking for a long term partner, with a good understanding of the market.
The approach
To fulfil Virtuagym’s hiring roadmap, we set up a team of talent business partners with cross-domain expertise. From that moment, we quickly started sourcing, screening, and shortlisting qualified candidates within our exclusive talent pool and external sources.
Followed by setting up the interviews and supporting the closing phase. All while focusing on the end-to-end process to decrease time-to-hire and providing an exceptional candidate experience as a focus.
The result
Over a period of 10 months, our talent acquisition team managed to hire 24 key hires, including a Chief Commercial Officer and a Chief Financial Officer. All within 6 weeks per role on average.
